Moisture Balance – Fast Dry
Obsolete- Replaced by the FD720 and FD800.
This system provides the shortest drying time by using a ceramic heating element. Temperatures can be set as high as 400oC.
The “Fast Dry” mode boosts the initial drying temperature level to bring the sample to evaporative temperature, then feathers the temperature downward to minimize the possibility of scorching the sample while providing the fastest drying available.

Dual Control Moisture Balance
$5,495.00Unique innovative design minimizes the chance of scorching a test sample. A traditional temperature sensors automatically controls the drying temperature. A second, separate infrared temperature sensor monitors the surface temperature of the sample. If the temperature approaches a level that would scorch or burn the sample, the drying temperature is automatically adjusted downward. This avoids scorching and bad test results.

Moisture Balance

This fully-electronic model uses an infrared heat lamp for gentle, yet effective drying. Samples of 5-70g can be quickly dried with continuous, timed, or automatic modes. Simple operation and reliable, accurate performance, combined with reasonable cost make the FD600 the choice for many laboratory and process applications.
The FD600 offers a 185 watt bulb, while the FD620 provides a 300watt heat source and RS232C output to PC or optional thermal printer (VZ300)

Infrared Moisture Balance

One of our older moisture balances. Infrared heating lamps provide consistent ambient temperatures while minimizing scorching. The sample weight is limited to 5g and temperatures between 50 and 155 degrees.
The replacement model for this unit is the fully-electronic FD620.
